ELAN Urban and ELAN Signage announced a new partnership with CU Phosco, the leading Designer & Manufacturer of Outdoor Lighting in the UK, to provide local infrastructure projects with bespoke and standard street lighting products.

Under the partnership, ELAN Urban will locally assemble LED luminaries at ELAN Signage factory to offer high-quality street lighting products to the Qatari market. The local assembly of street lighting products is designed to meet the most demanding lighting requirements up to 400W.

Thanks to its lightweight and low-profile wind area technology, the new road luminaires can be safely installed on existing lighting columns and brackets. The luminaires can also be upgraded on-site thanks to the simple and fast installation system.

With this partnership, ELAN Urban and ELAN Signage are bringing the ultimate solution to replace traditional power intensive HID sources in the streets with eco-friendly and long-life LED lighting, and create a safer, higher visibility driving environment.

The locally assembled CU PHOSCO road luminaires are approved by ASHGHAL – Qatar Public Works Authority and will also contribute to the self-sufficiency of the Qatari Market.


In an effort to support the government of Qatar in raising further awareness among the public to limit the spread of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), ELAN Group launched a CSR awareness campaign to reinforce the fact that staying at home and keeping a safe distance between each other are the most important things people can do in the fight against COVID-19.

The campaign is taking place on a large number of ELAN Media’s Seniors and MUPIs and in all of Doha and Greater Doha Municipalities.

ELAN’s HR team received the award during a LinkedIn event that took place in Doha in December 2019. The Talent Awards are the region’s flagship program for companies who have made a mark in the recruitment and employer branding space.

Signage Team has successfully designed, printed, fabricated, delivered and installed Ground Mounted and Flag Signs, of different sizes as part of the Public Works Authority Ashghal’s plan to facilitate and guide the spectators to reach Al Janoub Stadium that hosted the 24th Arabian Gulf Club-2019 Tournament / FIFA Club World Cup-2019.

Due to the tight deadline to complete this project, Signage Team worked around the clock to install the signs on different routes going to Al Janoub Stadium. The project was successfully delivered within 2 weeks’ time after granting the design approval.

On another front and to guide the heavy equipment’s and trucks to its designated Truck Parking area which Public Works Authority-Ashghal’ s planned at Lusail West, Sailiya and Umm Leghab.  Signage team has also successfully completed the Truck Parking directional signs at various locations in record 10 days from project initiation.

Signage has installed around 110 Signs of different sizes around 700 square meters for the above-mentioned projects.

ELAN Urban and Bottega7, an Italian innovative lighting and urban furniture company, have successfully completed and delivered the Green Line Rail project that runs east from Al Riffa to Al Mansoura in the west.

ELAN Urban and Bottega 7 provided the fabrication, supply and installation of light poles, bike racks, and removable and fixed bollards for Qatar Rail’s 11 Green Line stations through the project’s main contractor, SPH-JV.

ELAN Signage team has successfully designed, printed, fabricated, delivered and installed 120 ground, mounted and flag signs of different sizes as part of the Public Works Authority-Ashghal’s plan to facilitate and guide the spectators to reach Khalifa International Stadium that hosted the 24th Arabian Gulf club-2019 Tournament in a smooth manner.

Due to the tight deadline to complete this project; Signage team worked around the clock to install the signs on different routes going to Khalifa International Stadium. The project was successfully delivered within 15 days after granting the design approval.

ELAN Group supported “Educate a Child” campaign as part of its corporate social responsibility activities for the second time this year during WISE Summit 2019. EAC is a program created by “Education Above All” (EAA) that is a global foundation established by Her Highness Sheikha Moza Bint Nasser in 2012. This global program aims at erasing illiteracy through the provision of quality education & recently achieved a very significant milestone that is providing proper education for 10 Million children around the world.

ELAN Media launched Qatar’s first bridge network of Out-of-Home advertising assets.

Placed in optimal locations on the bridges of the expressway leading to Hamad International Airport, F-Ring Road and Al Wakrah Area; the six visible advertising sites covering both sides of the highway are impossible to miss; capturing 80% of the arrivals and departures to and from Qatar and registering 7.2 Million impressions per month.

Moreover, ELAN Media’s latest Elite bridges’ pack includes Khalifa Bridge located in one of the busiest areas of Doha that registers 2.1 million impressions per month.

Held under the patronage of Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, ELAN Events and informa successfully organized the 8th edition of Cityscape Qatar from 22 to 24 Oct 2019.  The event took place in Doha Exhibition and Convention center and hosted exhibitors from more than 7 nations and more than 9000 visitors.

ELAN Events team scope of work included venue management, exhibition services, sales, marketing and communications. The exhibition offered a range of unparalleled investment opportunities within the local and international real estate markets.

ELAN Print team has recently achieved the new ISO 45001:2018 certificate, that is the first internationally agreed occupational health and safety management system, based on the team’s successful implementation of the new OHS standards of ISO 45001:2018.

As a result, the British Occupational Health and Safety Standards 18001:2007 were replaced by the new Standards, which will help ELAN Print team to manage their occupational health and safety processes and risks in a systematic and consistent way. Moreover, the new standards are set to maintain and improve the quality management system of ELAN Print based on QMS Standards 9001:2015, to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
